It looks like on Buy It Now we are stuck with "Good Till Cancelled" as of a few minutes ago I was using 30 days and now I can't - nothing available but: "Good Till Cancelled"
Any one know how this is supposed to work? I have obviously not been keeping up.
How will we get out listing seen? Will we still rotate through 30 days and then get dinged again for listing fees?

I'm still able to use the 30-day option (for now). Technically, it is supposed to take effect in April for eBay Canada. Maybe do a test listing in a different category? Unless you're attempting to list on .com?

LIstings will renew after 30 days and will be charged a listing fee if you don't have any free listings left. You can end the listing early if you want to without a penalty.
As the other poster mentioned, this is just live on .com right now but it starts on .ca in April.

Additional notes-- trinton@ebay claims that crunching the numbers shows that the 'doubled monthly charge' would only turn up about twice over a two year period.
My arithmetic is not up to working out if that is true.
The drawback to ending early to relist at leisure, which is something I've been doing for years on some GTC items, is that we get a bump in Search for About to Close, which would be lost if the GTC listing is closed early.
OTOH, we would get a bump when/if we relist the closed item . So that may be a wash.

Ya - I list on .com. Does that make a difference?

It makes a difference because GTC-only is *already* live on .COM; in other words, the ability to list 30-days with fixed price is already gone on .COM.
