How do you know whether your listing is on .ca or .com?

It's probably a stupid question, and been asked a million times. I have been on ebay for almost 10 years, but reading the great info and friendly banter on this board, as related by the veterans, makes me feel like a newbie. All these years, I thought that listing on either one, with shipping costs for both countries, meant that buyers from both, were able to see and purchase my items.

Strangely, my automotive items, give me the option for GSP, which makes no sense, as I live in Canada. Yet my domestic shipping is USA, and Canada is international on those listings. Anyone know why? Tia.

you have listings on both.  Dreamcast game was on .ca, auto part on .com.  Can tell by looking at the shipping, on .ca Canada is domestic and uses canada psot services.  on .com USA is domestic and uses usps services.  They can all be seen on both sites if you made them available and filled out the shipping section, which you have on the ones I looked at.

Not sure what you mean about where you are listing. When listing, does it ca or com in the upper left corner? I only list on com. Personal choice.

No idea why you are being offered GSP, I certainly am not.

You were right and it is still that way.

You might be referring to the conversations about the U.S. cart. If  you list on .ca, anyone shopping on .com

has to pay for each item separately as the cart there does not work for .ca listings.

Thank you for checking, the Dreamcast games are sort of aimed at the Canadian market, as the GSP has made(as we all know)the shipping cost(plus duty) into Canada a ripoff. It should show Free shipping for Canada on them. The Automotive items should show Free shipping Worldwide, but I may add a minimal charge of $5 or 10 for Canada(international). Why ebay thinks I'm in the US for those items, is very strange. Maybe because, I was on .com when I made, and listed them.

I would normally lurk here, and post on the .com board, I will try to do it the other way, as we(Canadians) have our own issues, which the US sellers cannot even imagine.

The US cart issue, is not an issue for me, as I rarely get multiple sales, and when I do, the buyer usually asks me to send an invoice with the proper shipping.

Sales Worldwide on most of my listings, does tend to back up the theory that they are visible to all, which is good.
