The recent announced changes to ebay's blocked countries list prompted me to have a look at my own shipping exclusions list. Made some changes, unblocking most of Europe along with Australia, New Zealand and a lot of the larger Asian countries.
Everything I've had listed since March shipped mostly Regular LetterPost to Canada, ÙSA and the U.K. I had a single INR over that period, probably only had 50 or so shipments over that period. Until very recently I've stuck to offering only low value stale items that had been regularily re-listed for years. As summer's end approaches I figure on applying more energy to new listings that might attract an audience beyond North America. I guess I'm unsure of the degree of aggravations asociated with overseas shipments now versus the good old days.
I still plan on steering clear of listing heavier books, catalogues, manuals and the like which require parcel services. A lot of the remaining inventory I have along those lines seems to attract European and Australian buyers.
Those that have been shipping overseas, where available, are shipments to Germany, Spain, Australia and Asia arriving without too many problems? Are untrackable LetterPost shipments attracting more than the usual level of INR ? I guess I should have included the USA in that question as I've seldom shipped there lately.
FWIW ebay's exclusion list still differs significantly from the Canada Post list. The most recent CP update I could find was July 23rd. Ebay updated their list as of August 5th.
