Is eBay changing the My eBay page - it looks like it.

Man they are doing it again. How do I get rid of these stupid and rediculous suggestions and feedback stuff on My eBay. I could not even find the discussions they were not at the top of the page - had to go looking.

What part of: if it ain't broke - don't fix it  don't they understand.

The one thing I have learned with eBay.

Relax... and Go with the flow.

and .. Things will keep on being adjusted.....

eBay's BIG BOSS calls it ... Constant Renewal

Hi 'ross-cd' --  I agree, they are breaking things everywhere that once worked just perfectly.

Well, I see they did almost the same thing to your "Me" page as they did to mine (click on mine and you'll see what I mean).  They completely wrecked my "Me" page some months ago by reducing the fonts to virtual invisibility and ruining the spacing, margins, layout, etc.  I just haven't had the heart to go back and try to re-do it, only to have it trashed again.  Some day when I have nothing else to do I'll try once more...

Your page looks fine to me. The layout looks good and the font shows at 11pt in Verdana...completely readable. I wonder if you are seeing something different than what I'm seeing.

Hi 'pj' --Yes, I do see something completely different, and I have to wonder whether others can see what I'm seeing or not (obviously your view of my page is fine).

I've given up trying to puzzle out what caused this problem and what the solution is.  I see the same mess with IE(10 or 11, even when set on "compatible mode") and Chrome, but I've yet to try Firefox.  Still, I think it's reasonable to expect that eBay should be able to produce a promotional page that can be properly viewed with any major browser.

I did make one valiant attempt to revise and re-organize the page back to the way I originally had it -- the fonts and layout looked OK on "preview", but reverted to the jumble I see now as soon as I saved the page.

Interestingly, there was a day -- just oneday -- this past summer, about a month after the "Me" page went crazy, that it magically reverted, and I was delighted to think I didn't have to re-input all that stuff again.  The next day it was back to the previous mess.  Go figure...

For 2 or 3 years previous to mid-2013, my "Me" page was just fine.  The problems happened, as I recall, around the time eBay was doing a lot of other site changes.  I've brought it up with the Pink people, but never really got a definitive solution.

As I say, I've given up on it for the time being.

I looked at your About Me page and it looks fine in FireFox v26, latest Google Chrome and Opera browsers. My old Internet Explorer 8 does not look good. At the second picture, the fonts go very very large for 2-3 lines then back to normal.

It's funny, this odd font growth phenomenon is happening all over these boards too, I've noticed.  Whether I use IE11 or Chrome, it's the same.

Thanks for taking a look 'poco'-- I suppose one of these days I'll download FireFox and get it over with.  Then six months from now, eBay will retool again, and that suddenly won't work.

They really do need to work on making this site function reliably and consistently (like it used to), rather than focusing on aesthetics and design.
