I sell individual, as well as sets of magnets (4,5 and 6 in a set).
When I list, should a set be considered 1 item or a 'lot' with xx items per lot. Does it matter? Thanks.

"I listed them as a set being one item,"
That was the correct way to do it.
You will find "lot" listings on eBay. Often they represent something else where all items are identical. That has nothing to do with your listings.

A lot of six items is ONE lot.
When buyers click on Buy-it-Now for
They expect to receive a set of six magnets for $25.00
Your listing shows that you have 10 sets of six magnets available.

Thank you for the reply.
Yes, that is what they will be getting. I was just wondering if eBay considers a set of something to be a 'lot'. I listed them as a set being one item, not 1 lot with 6 items in each lot.
It's really 6 of one half a dozen...just didn't want to break any rules.

When I use "lot", it means that I have a listing with more than 1 item like 2 to 10, etc. By using "lot" get many buyers' attention as they want to find listings with more than 1.
