New Observation with Promoted Listings

An FYI for anyone using Promoted Listings

In the past, if you had a listing that was previously promoted and you ended it, then if you went to relist the promotion did not follow along. You would get an error message stating that promotion DID NOT renew. You would have to update manually. This is no longer the case.

Same thing happens if you use Sell Similar to create a new listing (Not sure about relists. I rarely use that method.) It will add the attached previously selected % rate. Because I was regularly seeing the error message in the past I didn't spot that it was checked off at the bottom of the listing for recently created listings. Another one of those "Automagic" features we've come to accidentally find. Similar to how the procedure recently changed for updating/adding items to a current promotion.

I was checking my listings for Duplicates and Relisted Solds last night (found and removed six) and took a couple of Promotions off and added a couple more.

I guess I will add monitoring PL to my list of things to pay attention to.
