New to eBay selling, which category shall I go for & how to scale it on eBay

hello everyone,

I am new to eBay, looking for some help.
I want to sell some products on eBay. But finding it challenging to choose the right category.

Also where to buy the products from at cheapest rates to keep the cost low?

Shipping is extremely expensive in Canada to make profits. Is there any hacks I need to know to make profits?

Is dropshipping doable profitably? If so, how & from where I will find dropshippers?

Please guide all the basics NEED TO KNOW to start profitable eBay business.

Thanks

What exactly are you selling that you are struggling with picking a category?

Dropshipping is very profitable-- for the supplier not for the reseller.

The supplier gives you the pictures, the description, the packaging, and the shipping service.

You have no control over the pictures, the description, the packaging, and the shipping service.

You are responsible for the pictures, the description, the packaging, and the shipping service.

If something goes wrong: the pictures are photoshopped, the quality does not meet the description, the packaging is inadequate so the item is damaged, the shipping service is slow and the item does not arrive: YOU are responsible and YOU refund.

But finding it challenging to choose the right category.

Sell what you know. Know what you sell.

Which also means - don't dropship.

If you know what you sell, you already have a good idea of where to buy below retail.
