Number of Premium store listings with upcoming new store subscription rates

Hi,

Sorry,  I am almost positive this has been answered somewhere but after digging around the archives, I can not find the answer.

I am just about to take the plunge and open a store. For a premium store, I understand you get 500 listings per month. Is that 500 in total and only on the site you register on, or do you get 500 for .ca and another 500 for .com?

"I am just about to take the plunge and open a store."

The new fee structure for stores only comes into effect on May 1st.

Oh, yes I know. I didn't mean today right this minute... I am just trying to plan so I know what I want to do.

500 total

It is not the same as the first 50 free monthly listings for sellers without a store where they can still list 50 on each of eBay.com and total of to from eBay.ca and eBay.frca.

I expect eBay Inc will eventually block that loophole used mostly by Canadian sellers. In the meantime, why not?

I had a similar question and I looked it up and found this:

From the FAQ of the 2013 Spring Seller Update on ebay.ca:

"I list on more than one eBay site. Will all listings count against a single limit, or do I get more free listings when I list on other sites?

Free listings are respective to the site on which they are created. For example, if you have a Basic Store and use up your 150 free listings on eBay.ca, you could create another 150 on eBay.com."

"you could create another 150 on eBay.com.""

IF eBay.com approves this policy interpretation, it opens a brand new ballgame.

However, we all remember how eBay.com told eBay.ca last year that they could not advantage Canadian sellers and reversed a policy decision that would have exempted Canadian sellers from uploading tracking information (90%) to maintain their TRS status.

We will all be smarter sometimes in May after store owners try to maximize the value of their store by listing on both sites.

So I am assuming that currently store owners can not do this?

What happens if a store logs in on .com and lists something. Do you see it deducted from your initial 500?

I don't upload any tracking and I'm TRS (on .ca), I read your comment before, what am I not understanding?

To clarify I'm speaking of my other id, this one was TRS up until this month when I was dinged down to A.S.S. status.

"and I'm TRS (on .ca),"

Of course.  I should have specified on eBay.com
