Well not really information, more like misinformation. Had to go into town so went to a new SDM to drop off some mail instead of my local PO. Two if my items were Lettermail and I ran out of correct postage stamps so needed to mail them each with 3.19 + hst postage. Wasn’t watching carefully enough and the clerk put on one 1.94 stamp and one 30cent stamp on each. I objected because this was more postage than they needed. Was told that if going within Canada they have to have stamps, they can’t have postage made through the printer!! I really wonder what kind of training these clerks are getting!
Overall cost me 12 cents extra and I will not be going to that SDMart again. Parking was lousy anyway. Clerk was adamant that that was the rule. I wonder what other misinformation she will be giving to customers?
