Returned Over weight Prepaid Xpresspost Bubble Envelope?

Has anyone ever had a Canada Post Xpresspost bubble envelope returned for being over the weight limit? I realized my boo boo this morning,
but it was too late to do anything about it (already sealed and addressed). I shipped it today and they didn't weigh it at the counter - just scanned and entered the postal code and gave me a receipt. Anyone know if they will reject and return to sender, or have postage owing upon receipt? Or nothing at all?

In my experience you'll be fine. I've seen people shove all matter of heavy and bulky items in those envelopes and have never heard of one being returned.

As it was scanned and accepted at the counter you should be ok.  If it was with stamps and put in the letter drop box, I would think the risk of return is higher.   Either way, it is likely fine.
