'Sell One Yourself' no longer hijacks you to another ebay site! Good news abounds.....

I rarely if ever use the 'Sell One Yourself' or 'Sell One Like This' since there are rarely existing examples of what I am trying to list on ebay.ca but today I am finding that when I click that link on someone else's listing on ebay.com, it now keeps me on ebay.ca in CAD and doesn't send me automatically to sign into and use ebay.com like it used to do always! Yay. More good news.

I just tried it and it did send me to .com. I was already signed in to both sites so it wasn't that noticeable but the URL did become a .com url

Really! Why not me then? It's CAD and everything.

Stayed on .com or took you to .com?

Sorry, I realize that wasn't worded that well.

I went to a .com listing, clicked on the button where it says "Have one like this? Sell now", and the listing page I was taken to was still on .com.

Any listing that I choose while logged in at eBay.ca today allows me to stay on eBay.ca while copying that listing despite the other original listing being on eBay.com and in USD. Why would that be?

Oh, I misunderstood the original message.

I was going to the .COM site to try and list based off of a .COM listing.

I just tried creating a listing based off of a .COM listing on the .CA site and I also ended up staying on .CA and not being transferred over.

Sorry for the confusion.

I was beginning to feel like Alice Through the Looking Glass. Thestuffofchris, you were able to replicate my staying-on-eBay-Canada-while-using-sell-one-yourself-from-eBay.com? But pj wasn't. Hmm. I wonder as to the reason. What if you log out of eBay.com first and then click on an eBay.com Sell One Yourself while logged into eBay.ca only?

This change is exciting to me. I could never use another user's listing to start one of my before because I only use CAD and there'd never been eBay.ca choices. Except that one time with SpongeBob books and then I carried over the other seller's worldwide shipping no exceptions too. So that was scary. But this is seamless.

Strange. I just tried it again and I definitely get taken from ca to com if I try to replicate a com listing. Are you both using the newer syi form?  I'm on the old one so maybe that makes a difference?
