Selling can sometimes be painful!

Hi everyone,

I have a bunch of books, video games, and collectibles I want to sell. It can be painful when someone is not agreeing with your price or your item is not selling. I enjoy the process of trading item for item but can't seem to find that method anywhere. Do you guys go through the same problem? What is your solution?

Selling can sometimes be painful!

Most of the sellers here are in it for the money.

We are either supplementing our incomes or depend on online sales for our whole living.

Barter is fun, but one of the best ways to simplify it is to use money. That way if you have a cow with a surplus of milk and I have a sewing machine but am lactose intolerant, you can sell your milk (or beef) to someone else for loonies and buy my garments. Then I can use the money to buy both more fabric and hiking boots.

There are numerous sites aimed at trading games etc.  There used to be quite a few more.  THey are all primarily American and largely became useless to Canada after USPS increased the rate so much so no one wanted to mail US.Canada.  There were a couple that used virtual currency that had significant Canadian populations and worked pretty well for awhile, both went under with everyone who didnt' see it coming losing all their "currency" instantly.  Ones not using a currency, leaving people to try and negotiate a trade just aren't worth the hassle.  Lots of kids on those sites so even more problems then here.  Most would rather pay the fee here, or use local classifieds then deal with trying to trade with strangers online through mickey mouse sites
