A Russian language plug-in for your browser may solve the issue.

If it displayed all garbled and you've been billed for it, you may have to void it and confirm the address with them by ebay email. Voiding unfortunately takes 14 business days in Shippo for a credit. Does it display in your sales transaction list clearly? If it does you can update from there manually but be certain to do it exactly. You can check in Google for the proper format. When sending an email to a foreign customer I always write it out first in English and then translate it to their language using google below to be on safe side.

PS. Depending on the item involved you may want to confirm requirements for documentation in the correct language for their postal system and number of copies required. Some items require additional documents for Russia

Do you have the Cyrillic version anywhere?
Can you cut and paste it into the label ?
Will it print accurately?

I've shipped to Russia 3 or 4 times in the last couple of years with no issue. I just make sure to mark package, documents and address label all with customers true phone number and include a to and from address label/+ packing slip inside the box with customers phone number also in case things get separated during the customs process accidentally. Russian Customs CAN & WILL reject packages for unknown reasons. Happens all the time!

As a relatively new seller with some high value items, I worry about this whole transaction.
You NEED tracking to Russia.
Seriously. Need. Tracking.
Can you afford another neg for non-delivery? Or a refunding a $1000 jacket?
I think you may be best off cancelling the transaction as "Problem with address" right now.
You will not get a Defect for that reason.
Making some WAGs on weight, dimensions and value, it would cost you $200 to mail a leather jacket to Russia and there is NO tracked service available.

Well one of my package just returned recently from Russia, no reason stated on the package, I sent with FedEx priority Worldwide Pak, and when I contacted them, FedEx indicated that only documents are allowed to Russia specially Moscow Gateaway border, so this is becoming problem for me as I have Russian costumers. I have also shipped manyn times to Russia but this one is different, the address is in Russian alphabet.

Well the shipping cost with FedEx is $78 and Canada Post International Air $90, both have tracking number and customer paid for the shipping.

Cryllic is the alphabet Russians use. Also Ukraine and Belarus, that I am sure of, probably the 'stans' that were parts of the USSR.
We use the Roman alphabet.
Greeks use the Greek alphabet.
Israel uses Hebrew.
The Arabic world uses Arabic.
There are at least three alphabets used in India.
And Japan has a alphabetic form of writing AND a character -based form.
Not to mention Thai and Korean.
Here in Canada you may occasionally run across Cree, Inuit and Haida syllabic alphabets.
The world is so full of wonderful things, that we should all be as happy as kings.

Sorry, no help for your label language problem but I agree voiding the label and cancelling the transaction is probably a very good idea.
The Russian import restriction list is an impressively long one ... judging by the items restricted Russia isn't exactly open to a lot of Western ideas or products. The Canada Post customs info page makes for an interesting read.

I’ve heard of similar problems but I think that is only for some services delivered by courier. I believe that they will deliver products to a company but not a private individual and as far as I know, it does not apply to services delivered by the post office. I’m basing this on a few articles that I’ve read online but you might want to verify that yourself.
