I agree that without buyers on ebay, I would lose money because of the ebay fees, obviously I would not sell on ebay if I didn't think I could make a profit. It's all about supply and demand. If the fur traders didn't have fur to trade, no one would have fur to buy, thus no trade on fur. The fur trader has to do the work of getting the supply of fur, hunting animals, removing the fur etc, a lot of work involved. It's about making a living, it's also about providing goods and services. Without any cable/satellite companies around to offer their service, no one would be watching television/cable. Some countries in the past had a shortage of food supplies, such as wheat for bread. There were thousands of people lined up for bread, but only one small source for the bread, not enough for everyone, people stompled eachother, some people got injured and died, because of a huge shortage of goods, not enough suppliers, not enough goods. People need to appreciate where their goods and services come from, and the work involved to get these goods and services to the people. Probably why buyers don't mind spending their money on goods and services, because they are unable to do it or get it themselves, thus making sellers/traders extremely important. I think both sellers and buyers are important, one cannot be without the other. I read someone's post that said that buyers are more important than sellers, that's why I responded in the first place, I don't agree with that statement, without one, there would not be the other.
