Two sold listings just dissapeared

This is not my day. I sold two radios this morning - both were paid with PayPal. I just looked in My Summary and they are both gone. I searched for both item numbers and neither number shows - just comes up with a big zero. The are still in the PayPal account and the payments are still there - thank god.

Anyone ever have this happen?  Not the end of the world but it alarms me.

Well this is really embarrassing - I went to pack one of the radios that went missing and could not find it. I bought a new computer before Christmas and transferred all the "ready to sell" eBay files over to it.

Looks like I transferred over one that I should not have - yep it was already sold last year and it was one of the ones that went missing. Had to explain apologize and refund and buyer. I offered him a really good discount on some others if he wants one of them.

Well on the bright side I am only looking for one radio now.

eBay has been known to show old sold listings as unsold months after they sold. Maybe it was eBay showing a sold as unsold and you transfered it with the others when you got a new computer.

I have read about this issue about sold going into unsold and being relisted. I had it happen to me for an item that was sold in August and appeared in December a couple of years back. Even posted a topic in the weekly session back then showing it.

As for your missing sold tems not showing, I do not know why. I know that My eBay All Selling page had a section to undelete deleted listing from Sold view when I looked at this once a couple of years ago. Maybe your sold were deleted and can be found there. How to get to that section I do not remember.

Ya know being on the up and up with buyers really pays off. After I apologized and explained how I had sold the radio he bought to someone else last year and offering him a discount if he wanted a replacement, worked out just fine. He not only bought a radio as a replacement - he bought another high end one as well.

And then he bought another.

Bad day turns into a good day.
