Unconfirmed shipping address

One of my items recently sold.  The buyer paid shortly after and in the "payment received" notification email from Paypal it is stated that the buyers shipping address is "Confirmed".  But after creating the shipping label the PayPal page now states that the address is an "Unconfirmed Residential address". Both addresses listed in the email and paypal page are the same.

So which one is correct - the email or paypal page? Is this something to be concerned about?

that specific situation of it showing confirmed one page an unconfirmed the next is nothing to be concerned about. It happens all the time for me.

As for shipping, just make sure you ship it with appropriate protections and tracking if required.

Yes, it's only on that one page. Once I go into the full transaction details it goes back to saying the address is confirmed.  I guess its just a bug in the Paypal system.

It doesn't matter whether the address is confirmed or not. At one time, a seller was not covered by Paypal protection if the address was unconfirmed...that changed at least a couple of years ago.You still have to show delivery confirmation to be protected in the case of an item not received and considering the value of your items, I'm sure that you do use some sort of method with del confirmation.

It seems to me that I read about one specific situation that an address still needed to be confirmed but it wasn't something that I've ever heard of happening so I never ever check to see if an address is confirmed. Perhaps recped knows what I am referring to...or perhaps I'm out to lunch on that one. lol
