What happens if you have a multiple listing and they all sell before a counteroffer is accepted?

An offer and counter offer is not a sale or an agreement to buy. It is nothing.
Widget is sold, any offers are now void as the system knows it is sold. The person dithering is told that the widget is no longer available, SOL.

I would consider myself very lucky if all items sold at the regular price before being able to accept or refuse a counter-offer. This is the buyer's loss, not yours. 😉

You send a polite note to the offerer (is that a word?) commiserating that all the items you had in stock were sold at full price before he acted on your offer.
Try not to add "nanny nanny boo boo! sucks to be you!" Keep it professional.
You might even note that he could add you to his Favourite Sellers list in case similar items come up in the future.
Or you could add the cheapskate to your Blocked Bidders List.
Up to you really.
