If you could have ebay address a longstanding concern of yours as a seller or buyer what would it be? Limit 1 per customer. Void where prohibited by law. Taxes, tariffs & handling charges will be extra. Extra costs for beyond locations.
I have 3 so leaving this blank. I just can't choose!! Maybe we will get a consensus? Who knows?

No tax breakout on eBay labels. That's cost me a lot of money.

Since I will not be selling to the US very much any more. I would like to be able to change my eBay payments from US to Canadian $ and deposited into my Canadian $ bank account. It was OK when 50% of my sales were in US$ but no more.

With the current situation, I think fixing the shipping issues would be the most important for me.
Could be many things to help sellers
- Adding more shipping providers in the Calculated shipping
- Adding a global shipping program. (This has many cons, but many pros too. I would use it if available)
- Duties at checkout

When the additional shipping options were added to ca we only got a limited assortment when it comes to UPS and Fedex. If you switch to testing on com and try the ebay calculator you will see a noticeable difference. Even comparing the dot com options for intl shipping gets a minor negligible discount for shipping Intl. When you compare domestic numerous options available. Unsure if the options based on a sellers location were intentional or in error. Just how it has been since they were rolled out.
ca https://www.ebay.ca/shp/calc/rates
com https://www.ebay.com/shp/calc/rates
Note: With original tool you could compare discounted vs non discounted.

Integrate Zonos into eBay CP labels. I read that Etsy has done it.
Would that be viewed by eBay as undercutting the EIS? Hope not as direct shipment to the US with CP/Zonos is still the lowest cost shipping option. With EIS buyers get to pay for shipping to the hub, then shipping to the US and just shipping to the hub will often be as much or more than shipping directly.

Not sure if this is an issue or not, but preemptively - allow a choice of both EIS and another shipping method.
Ideally I want to be able to indicate EIS for markets outside the US and Canada and Canada Post for the US and Canada. I think that this is a key to having EIS broadly adopted by Canadian sellers.

devon@ebay Can you get this passed on to the eBay suggestion box please? It's a very valid idea, especially for Canadian sellers. eIS will not work in a variety of situations just due to product mix and sellers location. Another biggie would be having it available for Best Offer. A very large number of items are sold using this method.

Make the Request Total button/function actually work for ALL buyers any time they have purchased more than 1 item.
If I was holding my breath on this I would be long since dead now since this issue started in 2011 and continues to this day. At least since 2022 eBay is refunding pro-rated fees on partial refunds so the financial pain has gone away but issues for buyers continues unchanged.

Integration, integration, integration.
That would solve a LOT of problems.
(Integration with Zonos. Integration with Chit Chat / Stallion). Mainly, shipping related. We need more and more options. The more the better.
(I see that I already answered that a while ago.. oh well.. it's still (if not more) needed).

Just give me some nice discounts for Canada Post within Canada, please...I would like to decrease my shipping costs and thereby decrease eBay fees, a decrease in shipping costs for any seller who ships anything within Canada and hopefully eBay doesn't put all its efforts into accommodating countless ways to ship to the USA!

So many fixes are needed!
1st: No Sales fees on taxes and shipping! A reasonable processing fee is fine (say under 3.5%) but charging 15% on Shipping and taxes increases costs and therefore prices on eBay.
2nd: A more from this seller line instead of 'similar listings' - eBay far too often shows an American seller selling the same item for less on my listings because they haven't had to pay import taxes, duties, brokerage, and Shipping to Canada.
3rd: Realated to 2 - Deprioritise American items in the search listings. This is .ca which is supposed to be for CANADIANS. Show items in Canada before those in other countries.
4th: Roll Back Fee Increases. We have gotten nothing new for these increased fees and they have just increased prices on eBay compared to other sites. I can sell the same item on my own website for $30 less and make an extra $30 in margin because of the fees. My website is also cheaper than the lowest level of eBay stores to add insult to injury.
