That's odd. ebay Motors is pretty specific.

Even stranger because car parts are on the opposite end of the spectrum from what you have listed! Even a toy seller of diecast cars (like me) is closer a closer fit to ebay Motors. Not that I have a box of brakes just laying around here anyway. I do have a collection of vintage license plates but I'd be loathe to sell them.

Very interesting. I received a promo invite, but with different terms -- 100 items (not 1000), from March 23rd to April 3rd (not April 6th), for listings created on .ca, and only 20% FVF discount.
Is eBay tailoring its listing promo terms to specific types or groups of sellers, or based on certain performance data?
This would be a welcome promo if I were actually selling much of anything. (LOL)

It is interesting how they're starting to customize these FVF promotions to very specific categories. I still do sell some old vintage car & truck literature such as shop manuals, parts lists books etc but those are listed under Collectibles / transportation / automobilia ... maybe that's why I was selected for the invite ... sold a lot of paper automobilia items during the last few years, just have a few dozen items left in inventory.
edited to add.... The old 1920s and 30s licence plates sell pretty well , I'm currently out of inventory and haven't been able to source any. Seems they are always either in poor condition or priced at retail.
