Rates above are non negotiated. Discounted rates that we have with CP are substantial due to the volume involved. Rate negotiations are worth the effort. Posted for reference/comparison only. US sellers have access to a full line of shipping options for UPS etc for domestic shipping.

@lotzofuniquegoodies I see you posted a thread. nice.

Is that normal the 77.10$ for fedex internationnally you mentionned in another thread? I've tested France, UK, etc... seems to be the minimum with FedEx right now.

Wasn't it lower in the past??

The situation for Canadian sellers is untenable without Canada Post as an option. eBay Canada has put us all in one basket and once it's tipped over (unavailable) we're all left to sink or swim - unfortunately that means many sellers outside of urban centers sink. Those if us in urban centers flounder and tread water - some swim ahead.

eBay needs to get out in front for us as sellers, given the massive changes occurring in the landscape of trade especially with the US. We need to be able to sell more efficiently to our domestic market and internationally outside of the US. Period. Otherwise we all sink.

Frankly I would never trust any price given on the FedEx site, or even one charged when the label is printed. There are too many reports of later charges against credit cards for never advertised uppricing by FedEx.

Also if the buyer accepts the package which is presented without import fees, and later refuses to pay them, FedEx has a nasty habit of coming back to the seller /exporter and grabbing those fees.

Fedex was not implemented as advertised.

@chicweb

That discrepancy would be caused by the fact you are in 3 Rivers vs me being in Calgary. You are a short scoot to Mtl where EU countries would get forwarded to. It's possible there have been increaseses recently that we weren't entirely in the loop for.

At least, if they give us as many options for UPS/FedEX, that would be a start.

I would like seeing API integration with ChitChat, Stallion and others. They all offer API to work with. As a developper, those tools are what they need to integrate it with Calculated Shipping. They just need to sit down and do it.

That would already be a step in the good direction to allow us to "survive" when things like this happens.
