stamp deal!

I just bought stamps at my local postal outlet - they are selling books of 10 PERMANENT stamps for $6.30.  They are flag designs, photos of different objects with a Canada flag on them, with a maple leaf in the corner with a P in it.  I know the other outlet I use still has stamps marked 63 cents, not permanent.  I'm going back later to get some more - check your local outlet to see if they have some too!

Take my advice and head back to that RPO post haste (excuse the pun) and buy them out of those Permanent stamps. Right now they're scarcer than hen's teeth and becoming more so with every passing minute.

I guess that RPO didn't get the memo!

Of course even though the memo said to limit sales of P stamps if you show up at a post office today and say I have 500 letters to mail TODAY, they will have to sell you 500 stamps and they probably only have enough P stamps to fill that order. If they had 63 cent stamps that's what they are supposed to make you buy.
