I am new to eBay. I want to maximise my shipping savings. FedEx is very expensive. My friend suggested ShippingChimp or Stallion. Thoughts?

Do you have a Solutions for Small Business account with Canada Post?

This gives you a small discount on Canada Post rates.

At the moment there is a real bargain rate (over 50% off ) on Tracked Parcel USA. The account also gives you Expedited Parcel service which is not available at the PO counter.

There are forwarding services, Stallion is one , chitchatexpress another, which will take your shipments to the USPS and uses their lower shipping prices.

There isn't an office for either near me, so I can't speak to the service. The drawbacks are that they charge a (very reasonable ) fee and that their locations may not be workable for you.

But both companies have good reputations here.

Chitchat also does forwarding within Canada and internationally.

Earlier this year, eBay partnered with Canada Post for a limited time promotion for their Tracked Packet - USA™ service, to help eBay sellers offer low-cost, tracked shipping to buyers in the US.

While this promotion was initially slated to end on December 31, 2023, to thank sellers for an excellent year, we are pleased to announce that it has been extended to March 31, 2024, at 11:59pm ET.
