Did Anyone Get their Coupon from the Sell Now,Buy Later?

it said you were supposed to receive a coupon for how much you sold between nov 1 to 17, within two weeks i still have not gotten mine. Calling eBay support was just a waste of time. It also never showed under my promotions page after activating it.

As per the last update we've seen the coupon was supposed to arrive starting Dec 1. (1 seller received a few days ago. Possibly that was in technical terms a glitch or they own shares in a horseshoe factory .  ;-0  ). Ebay usually sends mail in batches. So more than likely suddenly they will start magically arriving. The million dollar question...Did your transactions actually qualify?

Overall this and other recent promotions have been poorly administered with no way of really tracking. All one can do is keep checking your eBay mail and personal mail along with spam folder to see if it has arrived. I believe once they do arrive they have a short window to use.

I also didn't get my coupon for this ebay.ca promotion.  I thought maybe it would arrive today for Cyber Monday, but no luck.  I was concerned that it sounded too good to be true.

What did ebay support say?

I did get the Wishlist coupon (didn't even have to make a list since I already had one!), which makes me hopeful the Sell to Buy Coupon is on the way too...

There's another forums thread on this and it seems like loads of people haven't got it and the phone reps are sort of looking for excuses to shrug it off. The one I got after half an hour on the phone and being flat out hung up on once told me that the promotion is only eligible if you received it via email or direct messages on ebay. Nevermind that I was able to see and activate the promotion and specifically made sales during that period to get to the quota. The problem is that this is outright incorrect as the details page states: Who’s eligible? This Promotion is available to Sellers who (i) activated the promotion from the invitation email or on the Promotion landing page; and meet eBay’s minimum seller performance standards; and his or her eBay account is in good standing. Please sign in to My eBay and view your Seller Dashboard to verify whether your account is currently meeting the standards. I would say if a promotion is visible on the site (which it was) and you can click on it and activate it successfully (which we could), then you're entitled to receive it.

The promotion states:

The Coupon will be awarded within two weeks of Sunday, November 17, 2019. Once awarded, the Seller will be able to access the Coupon via email or in the “Messages” tab within “My eBay”.

It sounds as if many of the qualified sellers did not receive the coupon via email or via ebay messages so perhaps the information should have mentioned specifically where the coupon info would be on my ebay. It may have helped at least some of the unhappy sellers.

This promo officially was scheduled to start Nov 1 at midnight. I received the email regarding this offer Fri, Nov 8, 10:43 AM (In gmail). No sign as far as I can backtrack in eBay mail. I activated from the eBay header Nov 6 +-. Is there anything to rationally explain this sequence of events?

I got the anouncement in the Nov. Seller newsletter on Nov. 11.  Checked all the boxes, finally got my coupon today (dec. 3)

If offers are received  late in the game for some this would limit a receivers opportunity to physically use. This sounds similar to when Airmiles sent their mail in batches and you would receive just as they were about to expire. This is no longer an offer but more of a lottery.

I received mine on boxing day, but didn't even used it since the conditions were too restrictive, couldn't buy books, video games, couldn't buy electronics, other than a 500$ PS4, it seemed to activate with it. I tried multiple items, only the overpriced PS4 worked at activating my 50$ coupon. So I went somewhere else.

Main coupon purchase restriction was that it could only be used to buy item(s) listed on ebay.CA -- other words listed in Canadian $
