Starting October 1, sellers will be charged a fee to end early any Auction-style listing that has received at least one bid, as announced earlier this year. The fee will equal the amount of the final value fee, had the listing ended naturally and sold for the highest bid received when the seller ended the listing. The fee will be waived the first time a seller ends a listing early each calendar year. Follow these listing best practices to provide your buyers with the best Auction-style experience possible, and to avoid incurring this fee.

Also, as announced in the 2012 Fall Seller Update, you can no longer list, relist, or revise listings via Blackthorne, TurboLister, or the Sell Your Item flow that don’t include at least one picture. Be sure to review your listings and upload images as necessary, and remember – you now get 12 free photos per listing (excluding eBay Motors Vehicles listings). Be sure to load up as a way to increase your sales leading into the holiday season! Check out the eBay Photo Centre for tips on how to take great pictures.

Note: Starting the week of October 22, eBay will start auto-completing city and province information in your listings – based on the postal code in your listing. Be sure to review your listings and revise as required, as accurate item locations in your listings helps build buyer confidence!
