A day in the life of an Ebay Powerseller

I thought this would be a fun topic...have sellers here share with us what a typical day at work on your ebay business is like. Whether you are full-time or part-time, be neat to hear about a typical day (or evening) in your ebay life. We won't talk about merchandise, just simply about stuff, like what you do, while you are listing or packing, etc. etc.

For me on listing days I like to wake up at the crack of 9am, put on some shorts, a comfy t-shirt and flip flops and get myself a big glass of juice. I put the TV, which I have my back too, on A&E and proceed to "listen" for the next several hours to all kinds of sinister shows like American Justice and City Confidential while I list. I kinda feel like I'm back in the 50's listening to radio serials and stuff like that. From time to time I'll pause to answer an email that comes in, or have a quick chat with a friend on msn. I like listing days, it's kinda peaceful.

So c'mon lets hear your stories!!

i can't say i'm a full timer either...i am in the sense that i have access to ebay full time, but don't necessarily sell 'full time' volumes, so to speak. i only do auctions on weekends, never weekdays...i'm a full time stay at home mom, maybe when my helions both start school full days, i'll get into ebay full time, but probably not. i need to get back into the work force, i'm not a 'cubicle/stare at a computer screen all day kind of chick'...i need lots of human interaction!!

Come on guys....
Its Friday afternoon..... Time to unwind.....Put your feet up......Have a couple of cold ones.....Listen to some cool tunes...... and open up your life to prying individuals! heh heh! LOL

woke up early and anxious...big surprise...got up, had my tea and ciggy, got the kids brekky...packed some items to ship, gave them to hubby, off he went. made more brekky for the kids...checked my ebay-nada-what else is new-read the boards-nothing funny...where's tea?? well, actually, the hat thing was funny from andy. had a shower, did laundry, fed the kids lunch (five minutes, literally, after brekky-they eat ALL their food in the morning, and done for the whole day...unless we're talking dessert, another story)...cleaned the kitchen (daily, of course), entertained the kids, packed another large item, sent emails back and forth, trying to get into paypal ripping my hair out as it wasn't working-lady waiting for an invoice so i can get her package off..., put the laundry away, took ribs out for dinner, got my son ready for school, put him on the bus, did some gardening, did some phone mystery shops (my other p.t. job), walked to the grocery store with my little girl to get ingredients for cheesecake, came home, made the cheesecake, the ribs, etc...cleaned the kitchen...again...got my son off the bus, and here i am...exciting life...there you go andy...let me know if you'd like more detail 😄

You got that right! That is what Fridays were created for!!
My very favourite night of the week!!:-)

My not so typical day was to painfully package some items and send hubby to Post Office. Old Arthr acting up!! (And I put on a copper bracelet and ring; after all, I sell them....Time to see if they work!!)

Let me know if it does work Judy. I see alot of people wearing them and figured because they looked good. I wasn't always sure about the medical value though.

It is getting better. Actually this was the first time I had it so bad. Yesterday I could barely move. Today I am much better. Arthritis is a funny thing--it comes and goes which makes it hard to tell if the copper is actually working. Over the years though I have talked to many many people who swear by it. I just love the look of copper myself. But like everyone else I am willing to try anything if there is a chance it may help.

And thanks Ann! I am glad you like it!

Hi Vitali, do you have a book out, or a website, or somewhere where I can order a copy of your advice in one condensed, easy to follow format. Sort of like a Coles Notes for Vital?? I find your wisdom a little over my head at times. If I had it written down somewhere where I could study it at length, I might have a better chance of benefitting from it. As it is though, just in your posts, I can't seem to get the essense of what you are trying to share. But I am not a very quick person though, I must admit, since the accident. Let me know if you have anything I can get, and apply to my Ebay pages. Thank you for helping me out.
