FWIW-- I've been keeping a record of my sales since the Big Change and the only thing I've really noticed is an increase in the number of overseas sales I've had.
My US customers are equally divided between US dollar and Canadian dollar listings.
However, all my IDs cater to people who read and enjoy following instructions. YMMV.
And of course, there is the constant complaint that 'buyers don't read'.
We should also remember that while the buyer sees prices in Search in the currency of the site (USD on dotCOM, euros on dotDE, loonies on dotCA), both currencies show when the customer clicks on a specific listing.
All that being said, putting such a note in Descriptions might be useful in Disputes.

I've noticed the same thing about overseas. I'm not ready to make a connection to the currency change but I'm pleased. My overseas sales used to be more than half my sales but had gradually dwindled over the past 8 years to about 15%.

From reading here on the forum, it seems sellers feel U.S. customeres are confused about items listed in Canadain dollars and sometimes ask questions about Items listed in Canadian currency and simply won't buy our items if they are confused or unsure.
Would a note to U.S buyers in the item description of your listing clarifying the exchange rate between the canadian dollar and U.S dollar be helpful to U.S customers.
If yes can we work together to custruct a note that all canadian sellers can use in their listing to help U.S. buyers get past the confusion buy more items from Canadian Sellers.
As eBay states "52% of buyers never read the description".

I have also noticed an increase in international customers in the last month or so. The numbers aren't huge but international buyers were almost non existent for quite a while. In my case it has nothing to do with a currency change as I haven't made any changes.
