A package stuck in missisaga

I ordered a package that had to go through missisaga but it has been stuck there for about 10+ days, the due date for it coming is 16 November. The seller also doesn't know what to do. Does anyone have any ideas?

Go to your local Post OFFICE (not outlet) and ask for the postmaster. Have her send in an enquiry.

You should know that your parcel may not actually be in Mississaugua. That's just the last place it was recorded. It may even be in the back room at your local postal outlet, so you should also ask there for it.

What shipping method was used and from where was the item mailed?

Hello 'evgenyseller1',

<< a package ... had to go through missisaga but it has been stuck there..., the due date for it coming is 16 November.

... Does anyone have any ideas?>>

Was this a parcel coming up from the US?  I often find that when I cut & paste the tracking number into the US postal site:

https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction_input

I get different information than when I use the Canadian one:

https://www.canadapost.ca/cpotools/apps/track/personal/findByTrackNumber?execution=e1s1

I don't mean wildly different, but clicking on the number provided in my Purchase History does not give me as accurate

info as when I plop it into the Canada post tracking.  Recently I had a similar situation to the one you describe.  I assumed

the parcel was being assessed for taxes to account for the delay.  Plugging the number into Canada Post showed me

it would be at my house the next day.

As for due dates, it is really difficult for postal systems to be exact.  Assuming there is nothing untoward about something

you have ordered, it should be along any day now.

When asked on a feedback form if my item arrived by the expected date, I always click "yes" because mail travel

times have nothing to do with the seller.  It's an unfair question, so I choose to interpret it to ask if my item arrived,

whereupon the answer is always an enthusiastic 'yes'.

I wish you joy of your new item. Smiley Happy
