Sold a shirt for seventy today & thought it would be best to ship with tracking for just over seventeen.
Even though i have only made five claims in nearly eight years of selling, i am still a little spooked.
Has anyone else set a dollar limit for shipping with tracking ?
One friendly competitor has increased all overseas shipping prices to forty seven.

The only times I use tracking is when it is by default, Expedited. I have never sought out tracking.
I am not nervous about anything. I am anxiety prone, but, not nervous.

I am not sure if I will use the new tracking method. It looks like with venture one and Paypal shipping label discounts that Expedited is about the same price.
I am waiting to see if we will get any discounts for Track packet then decide on charges

I sell some quite expensive (for a given value of expensive) philatelic items on another ID. Because stamp collectors are very very honest, I mostly just go with whatever is cheapest for the dimensions and weight.
On the other hand, I have from time to time upgraded a relatively cheap item from LetterPost to Expedited, just because the buyer seemed hinky.
Today I sent off a package to a buyer who had three names on his account and two addresses - an Alberta one on eBay and a Quebec one on Paypal. That's going Expedited for the Delivery Confirmation, and I am absorbing the cost. He's already BBL.
