Although it turns out I've had access to the phone number for quite a while I never called until just now - mostly because I didn't know about it.

After getting extremely frustrated dealing with the folks @ "email PS support" regarding the dual currency issue (you may have heard how some glitch created a 2nd ebay billing account) This glitch then managed to have my account suspended among other things even though I'd made no changes at all to my profile - ie. ebay (or some computer at ebay) created the 2nd currency, decided to bill new listings in the new currency, then suspend me when I didn't pay the new currency account as it didn't put my credit card onto that profile.

Anyhow, 2 days of aggravation were ended in a 5 minute phone call. So thumbs up to the phone people!

Oh, and a huge thumbs down to the live support - I guess they must be there to only help new members with how to place a bid or something as they couldn't answer any of my questions.

Perhaps my enthusiam was a bit premature....

The phone support did get my hold taken off and allow me to get back to business, but tonight I'm back jumping over hurdles.

The promised reversal of the CAN$ charges (and the posting to the USD account) doesn't seem to have taken place.

Tonight I received emailed copies of my monthly ebay invoices (your card will be billed in 5-7 days) and a "friendly" payment reminder for the "overdue" CAN$ account. The email contains the suggestion to pay quickly to avoid losing my ability to buy and sell.

Moira - can you help with this? Am I the only one experiencing this stuff?

Hi acurael !

I would be grateful to find a phone number for phone support for my friend, another powerseller who had her account taken over by a third party, and is unable to get it reactivated. eBay isn't responding to her and she's at her wits end. Where would I find a support phone number so she get back up and running???

I had signed up for pre-authorized debit for my eBay selling fees - but out of the blue eBay just quit processing it this month and then sent me an overdue notice. I have resigned up for the pre-authorized debit and also made a one time payment - so I'm hoping they don't take my selling fees out twice !!!!

I've only ever used the phone support once - it's reserved for a silver powerseller (gold and higher have their own dedicated lines)

They asked for my user id when I called - so I don't know how much (if any help) you'd get if you called and weren't silver or higher.

I'm not going to post the contact number I have as I've no doubt "signed" something agreeing to not disclose it.

But I'll point you in the direction of google.com "ebay phone number" will give you some starting points.
