In July I bought an ipad 3 for my son to use at school as part of their innovative teaching strategy. I knew nothing about iClouds or locking and thought that because it came on and charged up, it was good to go. I only found out this morning, when I had to activate it, put on apps, etc. that it was locked. I've contacted the seller, who's in Canada and has 100% approval rating but so far I havent heard back and am pessimistic about ever hearing back. As far as getting my money back, do I have any financial recourse? It's too late, obviously , to open a dispute or claim.

If you paid with a credit card, you can do a charge back through them

You could also pull up the contact info for the seller and call them to see what is going on
