Call me naive, but can someone explain the point of a seller (me) using the auto-block for Unpaid Item Strikes to screen 'bad buyers' if an item is only available as Immediate Payment Required? Doesn't one cancel the other? Or should I NOT enable that screen on the IPRs? What do the rest of you do?

I use IPR only selectively but the UI strikes block is applied to all my listings despite, I think, the ability to apply that selectively as well.
I wondered tonight because I noticed yesterday a new entry in the Buyer Requirements log that says a user was blocked for UIs on a listing I've got set to IPR so I wondered....
Should I not just lift the UI block on IPR items and let the 'bad' buyer have it for cold, hard cash if they have it available. I mean, honestly, waiting ten days for a Cancel Order case to close is to me more annoying than the eight-day Unpaid Item process.
I wondered if I'd seen this somewhere before. lol!
My opinion (OPINION ONLY) is that this close to Christmas it might be a good idea to take off the Unpaid strike thing in the hopes of more sales. I only say that because I don't sell toys and have no idea how big a disaster it would be if every kid on the planet bought up all your items with no hope of paying just because they hope their parents will bail them out and pay.
If you make all your items IPR and add a line in the listing like
My listings are set up for immediate payment, but if you wish to buy multiple items and be able to pay a single invoice, please send me a message so I can help you to do this.
Then take the items they want out of IPR until they buy. Give them a certain number of days or whatever.
