NEED ADVISE?

I just received an email wondering where there item is at.

Purchased on May 4th shipped on May 7th and deliveried on May 11th. Hmmm

I have the tracking # and shows that a John signed for the item. I just sent the tracking # and waiting for a responce from the buyer. The Buyer has 100% feedback and a comfirmed address.

UPS was the shipping company.
I'm not really sure as a seller what I can do. I would like to be fair but this is a $170.00 item.

Within 10 mins after sending the tracking info I get this reply.

"I AM REALLY SORRY!!! The dummies at the post office put the package under "Belkin" rather than my name....sorry to be an ass about this."

I've had a few try and pull fast ones like that one me. I even recently sold an item and they didn't get to the post office for three weeks to pick it up and when it was returned to me they said it was my fault, lol..........

Sounds like a legit excus and not necessarily an indication that the buyer was trying to scam you out of your item.

You did the right thing and sent the item with tracking.

A WORD OF ADVISE (if I may): If/When you sell an item with a value over US$250(before shipping and taxes) then you MUST also get a DIRECT SIGNATURE at delivery time otherwise the PAYPAL SELLER PROTECTION POLICY does not apply.
