Had a buyer purchase a textbook from me on Friday. Shipped it out Monday morning via Expedited Parcel (1 day handling). Shortly after marking it as shipped (and several hours after actually dropping it off at the post office) buyer sends me a message requesting cancellation because "her course was cancelled". I didn't actually notice this message until later in the day.
I responded to the buyer notifying them that unfortunately the item had already shipped out, but she is welcome to return it when she receives it, and once I receive it back I will refund her initial purchase price. I even offered to refund her initial shipping (I know I shouldn't, this wasn't my fault at all, but whatever, I'm feeling generous... and trying my best to avoid a defect).
