Buyer will take all of my listing if I can give him a discount. How do I send an invoice with discount on the Price, not shipping?

Buyer has made the Commit to Buy based on my feedback, how do I proceed with this?

Once the item has been purchased, you can only discount the shipping price, not the item price. Since you have free shipping it is better to change the item price before purchase.

You can send an invoice through paypal with the discounted price but ebay will still charge you fvf on the original total. Or, you can have the buyer agree to a cancellation and then list the product again at the discounted price.

It would be simpler to set up a Fixed Price listing for the customer.

Use his name as the title to make it difficult for anyone but him to find it.

Correct the asking price and leave the shipping as is.

Tell him what you have done and give a deadline.

When he bids, the FP listing ends and you proceed as usual.

If he does not meet the deadline (you 'd be surprised how many of these are not completed) add him to your Blocked Bidder List and change the title back to the original, modifying the price if you want to.
