Buyer won bid but now has changed her mind about buying. What do I do?

It happens and it is better than having to chase an Unpaid who does not communicate.

You go to the Resolution Centre and have two choices. If the bidder seems reasonable and not "entitled" go for the quick Mutual Cancellation "We have both agreed...".

Let her know that she should agree immediately and that this will release her from the transaction with no black marks. You will get your fees back and both of you can leave feedback .

But be careful if she sounds at all "off". She can refuse the MC and you don't get your money back, she can leave any FB she likes and trash your DSRs as well. And the transaction will stay open. Ugh.

Safer, if slower , is the Unpaid Item Dispute. You can't open this until 4 days (96 hours ) have passed. If she does not pay, you can close after another 4 days (yes., slow). She gets a black mark, you get your fees and you can now relist. Use this if you have any doubts about her good will. PYA.
