CHARGEBACK dispute

I love it when you get a chargeback claim, paypal doesn't get in touch with you about it.

If I didn't go to my paypal account to check up on something else I would have missed it.

New ebayer said he did buy the item - of course it would have to be a $100.00 item sent to the UK.

Well I filled in the claim, which of course I will LOSE!

But, then I sent a note through ebay to the seller to ask what happened with the order.

I also sent him an email to his private email account - to let him know that I was going to CP to start an investigation into whether he received the item, and if he did and was keeping it and trying to get his money back, that I would be taking legal action, in brackets I said, (I hope this was not the case and that it was just a misunderstanding on his part.) 🙂

Well what a glorious day....;-)

CHARGEBACK dispute

Here's an example of dodging the PayPal chargeback bullet- a buyer who can't count the days.:

We are contacting you to let you know that one of your buyers recently
visited the Resolution Center and attempted to open a dispute against a
payment. The buyer wished to dispute the payment sent on Jun 29, 2008
(Transaction XXXXXXXXXXXXXX). This dispute has been deferred because it
was not opened within 45 days of payment.

Although this dispute is not eligible for negotiation in the Resolution
Center, we have noted that the buyer was dissatisfied with this transaction.

We encourage you to work directly with the buyer to resolve this matter and take this opportunity to provide customer service as you see fit.

Thank you,
PayPal

Package sent INSURED SURFACE PARCEL Delivery- with tracking and SIGNATURE AT DELIVERY.
Proof of delivery is available online. We were so hoping the buyer would file this claim earlier- so we could prove delivery. Oh, well, maybe next time. (BIDDER has already been blocked.)
