I am considering moving some of my listings to ebay.com because of the upcoming forced currency change.
I am currently a top rated seller on ebay.ca and of course would like to keep it that way.
I am not a US top rated seller and it is impossible for me to be one since most of my sales are small items shipped without tracking.
Using tracked shipping is not an option because of the cost of shipping vs. value of item.
I therefore cannot satisfy the ''quickly upload tracking'' condition to be a US top rated.
Therefore my question is: '' If I list on ebay.com in USD and do not satisfy US top rated requirements, will I still get my invoice on .ca and keep my top rated benefits? ''

"If I list on ebay.com in USD and do not satisfy US top rated requirements, will I still .... and keep my top rated benefits? ''"
That question has been asked and answered several times in the last few days - but got lost in those long threads with hundreds of posts.
Yes, a Canadian seller with Global TRS status will maintain his status and 20% rebate when listing on eBay.com even when the .com requirements for TRS+ are not met. The only real thing missing is the icon "top rated seller' on eBay.com. Not a big deal.
"get my invoice on .ca"
Your eBay invoice always adds all your fees from all the eBay sites (eBay.ca, eBay.com, eBay.uk, etc...). Nothing will change. If your billing currency is Cdn$ (like most Canadian sellers) eBay will convert each US$ fee into Cdn$ (they do NOT charge a conversion fee like PayPal).

Unsolicited advice.
Most of your listings seem to be fairly bulky.
Since dotCOM listings either have to use Flat Rate shipping from non-US locations, will you be able to correctly bill your customers for your shipping costs.
Parcel services are based on dimensions, weight, and location, requiriing in most instances Calculated Shipping. This is not available on dotCOM for Canadian sellers.
The exception would be your DVDs which come under dotCOM's stupid media shipping cap of $4USD. Can you ship your DVDs fior that or less?
All your listings on dotCA, will show in dotCOMs Search in US dollars, no matter what currency you list in.
So much more important to your success as a seller is going to be Shipping not currency.

I plan to keep the calculated parcel on Ebay.ca and a few select items that I can ship for flat rate on .com
The strategy being that for some items, like my nintendo s-video cables, my sales are mostly to the US. I also like to have USD in my paypal for my own online purchases. Since this item is my best seller by far this should give me some USD to roll around with.
