Sunset - I have experienced the blank pdf problem several times. This has been either due to my computer running a little slow or problems on their site. However these charges are easily refundable. All you need to do when this happens is go to your history, record the D #'s and let Canada Post know what happened later on and the will refund it no problem. This is a really rare occurence and all it takes is the odd phone call. I find it to be an extremely valuable tool and it saves me loads of time over when I used to do it manually.
Javax - I downloaded the CP desktop version last year. I must admit that it was an excellent program, until one day (of course it was of those days where I had about 30 packages going out), the program printed all of the labels for me and I shipped everything out. 2 weeks later my parcels from that day started being returned to me, some took over 2 months to be returned and some never made it back. Upon investigating when the first few parcels were returned Canada Post informed me that for some reason the program must have never electronically submitted the paperwork to Canada Post! So overall I found the program worked great, and although I only experienced that problem once, it was enough to steer me clear of the desktop version for good!
::Laird - Thanks for the update, Will that chage take effect for 2010? 😉
Just teasing ya..
