The official policy on eBay.ca (Canada) is found here:

Canadians are allowed to sell cap guns on ebay.................
BUT my advice to you is DON"T!!!!!!
The system gets completely confused when you do and even if you have the orange plugs and clearly list them as toys or replicas............ they still get pulled.
You can call ebay and get the go ahead with your listing and it will still get pulled.
You'll end up with a low compliance rating even though you did nothing wrong.
I can't stress this enough:
DON"T EVEN BOTHER TO TRY!!!

There are some people who are very anal about cap guns and will report the listing in order to get the seller int trouble.

its crazy my gets pulled and yet there is a Shootin Shell Cap Rifle that clearly has a flag rolled up and into the end of it some that do not even attempt to comply... they(ebay) need to have a quality control that looks at all these cap pistols etc. internally and ensure they conform to their requirements, set up standards and work with those that want to list them to mett code and only they should have the right to allow or disallow.... pretty sure there would be a lot more of these listed if the ones that got repremanded didn't go into a tizzy and start reporting others

Don't get upset.
Just move on and sell your cap gun somewhere else.

Many things have happened that wake us up to the reality... the danger of guns
First the reality of real guns. long guns/rifles and hand guns... the deadly ones regulated by Firearms Canada.
Then get into the grey area of
BB guns,
Paint guns, and
cap guns. ( maybe even water guns/pistols)
One gets the impression that Firearms Canada is working to define the deadly nature of this last group of guns.
Current regulations are unknown... but they are in place and perhaps will become more regulated in the future.
Critical to the process would be to ban the guns that look like the regulated firearms... No look-alikes...
