Is is possible to change the feedback I left to the seller?. He gave me a refund because the item hadnt arrive in over a month. Well, I received it and paid it back. I gave him the full 5 stars but I left on the comment that I havent received it.

Yes, you can revise your feedback.  Here's the link from eBay's help pages:

Before you send the feedback revision request, I'd send the seller a quick message letting him/her know that you'll be sending a feedback revision request and giving the reasons.  The feedback revision request page doesn't give you a lot of room to explain, so it's helpful to give the seller a head's-up beforehand. 


 


By the way, you deserve high praise for the way you handled this!  As a seller, I'd like to think most buyers are as as honest as you and would return the refund if an item shows up.  Often the postal system can work in mysterious ways and sellers have no control over shipping delays once an item is out of our hands. 


 


The seller did the right thing, and so did you!   It's a really decent gesture on your part to want to revise your feedback, kudos to you!!:-x

You can revise feedback if a neutral or negative was given.  That is not the case here.  You have left positive feedback.


 


In fact, you have left three positive feedback (out of seven) for three different sellers reading:


 


1 - Item didnt arrive. Seller gave a refund without a problem.

3 - Item didnt arrive. Seller gave a refund without a problem.


 


WOW - Three positive feedback for sellers who give you a refund after you claimed non receipt. And all that in the last month?

I apologize - I should have looked at the actual feedback you left.  I assumed it was negative.  Still, I don't get the impression your 3 "contradictory" positive feedback comments were intentional, were they?  You appear to be new to eBay, so I prefer to give you the benefit of the doubt that you may have had unrealistic expectations concerning shipping.


 


You can add a follow-up to your feedback, if you like, which might help to clarify, if you can keep it short and factual:

Are you choosing surface shipping from the U.S. by any chance?  You can always expect 4 to 6 weeks or more for surface.  It's not much more to pay for airmail/air parcel, and my advice would be to choose that shipping type every time if you can, especially with a more valuable item.  You'll usually receive it in under 3 weeks.


 


I'm not going to be putting you on my blocked bidders list. The fact that you repaid the seller tells me you probably made an honest mis-judgment.  Is that true?

All of the sellers from which you said you didn't receive the item are in China.


 


Perhaps you did not allow enough time for the items to arrive...it can take 30 days or more.  You have up to 45 days to file a claim for non-receipt and 60 days to leave feedback.

Why would I pay for an item that didnt arrive?.


You are not making any sense. I bought a bunch of stuff, I expect to recieve it. I recieved one of them and paid for it. I kindly ask the board if I can change my feedback so I dont give the seller a bad review. I could simply ignored it and moved on with my day. If you look at my purchases, its like $2 items and the ones that actually have some worth arrived nice and safely and awesome feedback was given.

I gave them a positive feedback because im being fair. Seller gave me a refund with no problem. 5 stars for the refund and the reply was honest and its a cheap item. Im not that kind of person who will give red stars for something so cheap. The seller I just paid is happy and im happy. Since I know he is honest, im buying more from him. I could have simply ran off with the product but I didnt.


 


I bought a bunch of stuff from china, I didnt realize it takes this long to arrive. Out of the 6 items I bought only 3 have arrived so far. I will do the same thing.

Yes, that will be the case here (see Post #3).  Because you hadn't mentioned in your original post that the FB you left was positive, I assumed from what you said that it was negative FB, which can be revised.


 


As I mentioned, after looking at the FB you left for the seller, I saw that you left a mixture of positive and negative comments on a positive FB line.  This can't be removed or changed, but you should be able to add a follow-up comment to your original FB -- see the link above in Post #3.  If you have a problem, you could try calling eBay customer service - they should be able to direct you for something straightforward like this.


 


In your follow-up you might want to say something like: "Seller co-operative & helpful re shipping issue, would buy from again!" or "Excellent seller, shipping problems resolved, recommend to all!", etc. -- whatever you think will put the seller in a positive light for others to see.  This follow-up comment will be placed directly underneath your original comment, so it will help to mitigate the effect of the earlier comment. You'll have to go through the process for each of the 3 original FB you left.


 


This is entirely up to you, but it would help other buyers who see the seller's FB understand that the seller did resolve the issues to your satisfaction, and as I said, it would be a generous gesture on your part.  As I seller, I would certainly appreciate it. 


 


And yes, if you're buying from China, keep the 45 and 60 day eBay deadlines in mind.

As already mentioned, you can't revise a positive feedback. However, even if it had been a negative, it is the seller...not the buyer..who has to request a feedback revision.

FYI don't wait 45 days to contact .,,. you have 45 days to file dispute after 45 days you will lose money and not be able to get it back unless seller refunds .. write them on the 40th day and file the case on the 44th day .,..


 


Always have to wait when buying international.. It can arrive in 1-2 weeks of 1-2 months you never know ..

Thanks for all the help. I bought more stuff from that seller. Customer service was great.


 


Here is another question. Should I start counting from the day I paid it or the day they ship it?. Because I pay right away and I notice it takes them 1-3 days to ship.

Did you manage to leave a follow-up comment for the items you referred to in your original post?  This would be a nice gesture toward a seller from whom you did eventually obtain a satisfactory item (or items).
