Does anyone know anything aboutTeddy Bears stuffed with KAPOK?

 I have a Teddy Bear which is stuffed with Kapok, and is obviously very old, would anyone know when Kapok was used in Teddies, and would it have been before or after straw was used, as I would like to know how old he is...thank you
