I want to buy an EOTech sight from the United States. As I live in Canada, I already know that ITAR restricts the exportation of these kind of products without the proper licensing and documentation. Does the Global Shipping Program work with these kind of products? Has anyone had any personal experiences with this out of the USA?

Do you see any for sale on eBay? Listing number?

Weapons are prohibited for sale through the Global Shipping Program. This might include parts for firearms. I'm just putting the information that I know for sure out there.

I'd be interested in seeing an answer to Pierre's question, though.

I should elaborate a bit more. If the GSP prohibits sales listed under "Sporting Goods --> Hunting" then it's going to prohibit pretty much anything related to be sold under the "hunting category," even sights. If it works through a few more sub-category "layers" then it may not.

Thanks for the responses. I bought a Surefire M952V a couple weeks ago and it should be ITAR Restricted, however I still recieved it so I was curious if the same rules applied to weapon sights.
