Express shipping on buy it now items how can you change it?

I am too scared of buy it now as the postage is standard, It shows more details on shipping and the rates but when I press buy it now it does not allow me to change the postage to express shipping so instead of confirmation to buy I end it as I need the express shipping and to pay for it before.

You cannot select an express shipping option unless the seller has offered one in his listing. You have to contact the seller before committing to buy it now and ask if they will give you an express shipping price.

Is it a Canadian listing you are looking at?  You realize you are on a Canadian Q&A board, yes?  Anyway, there is not such specific service as "Standard", unless the seller intends UPS Standard, which I doubt.  But if cheap-o mail is too slow for you, - are you aware what speedy mail to Australia costs?  Depending on the size and weight of the item, of course.  It might be a good idea to ask the seller what shipping services he is willing to offer to your country and at what cost.  Make your decision from there.
