Getting paid threw PayPal without having a credit card or bank account linked to account?

Hello.  I have purchased threw PayPal multiple times, but I always used a pre paid credit card.  I am interested in starting to sell a few items and am wondering if I can do so without having a credit card or bank account linked to my account?   If I was to give a seller my email address ( which is not a PayPal one ) or create an e-voice threw PayPal, would the funds go into my PayPal account?  Thanks so much for any and all information.

You will need a source of funds linked to you account, and all funds first go to your paypal account, and you then make withdrawls to you bank account.  When you first start selling, there will be a hold on the funds and you won't have access to them for, I believe, 21 days. 

There are various reasons - let's Paypal and Ebay handle seller protection, ensure they get paid, vet new sellers to try and limit hit and run artists.

I have a pre paid Visa linked to my account that I have been using for purchases... there's only a few dollars left on it, would that work to start selling? Thanks for your help.

No, you need a real CC, something that can carry a debt.
