Has anyone else been ripped off by seller?

The company strung me along saying that shipments were taking longer because items were being x-rayed coming out of China. They strung me along with slow responses until the item was no longer covered by EBay's weak buyer protection. They promised they'd make it right, but were really just waiting until the item was no longer eligible for feedback.

I am so reluctant to buy anything else using ebay.

You had up to 45 days to file an item not received dispute. It's up to you to read the policies and file the necessary disputes within the allotted time frame.

If your payment was backed by a credit card, contact the card company and ask them what steps you need to take to do a chargeback.

You only have a certain amount of time to do it so contact them right away.

Next time, don't buy from China.
