Ah, thank you, Sandy, that would make sense.  I don't have an avatar on my feedback page as this is just a posting id, not a trading one.  So, clearly I will have to put it there to get it showing here.

I don't like only being able to see the post I'm replying to, rather than the whole thread.

If you scroll down and click on the "View discussion in a popup" link, which is just above the "Replying to" post, you will get a new window showing all the posts on the page.

I apologise for posting here but frankly, there is nowhere else to post any more!

It would appear that all discussion boards internationally are dead with the exception of this one. Any attempt to access a board takes you straight to Liveworld.

As one of the moderators of Coin Forgery eBay, a closed discussion group that is hosted through eBay.com, I am concerned about the situation which frankly, appears to be nothing short of chaos and indicative of a complete breakdown in relations between eBay and its former provider, Liveworld, no matter how eBay's Director of Community, Jeff Terrell, tries to dress it up:

Don't know why this shows as a reply to a particular post ... this is just a general  testing post - which I am now editing to indicate that! - it is useful to have an edit button!

I'm normally on the US jewelry board and there's a lot of concern there about how this new format is going to affect uploading and inserting pictures ... so just giving this a whirl to see if it works.
