Has anyone ever used the Ebay/Paypal Shipping Labels within Canada ?
The one you purchase directly from Ebay "Print Shipping Label" Option !
Did it work for you ?
When I tried it - Canada Post did not know what I was talking about ?
Convey your experience please iff it was or wasn't successful !
Thanks
Li

Hundreds of them. Rarely any problems, and those were usually a short glitch in connecting, solved in seconds.
Did you start from your Paypal account by finding the sold item and clicking on invoice then on Print Label?
Did your listing have Flat Rate or Calculated Shipping?
Has your buyer actually paid? You won't be able to print a label until he does and his payment clears your bank. (A little Seller Protection there.)
Canada Post is the usual shipper, but don't get involved between you and PP, so the clerk not knowing about it is not a worry.

I regularly purchase eBay/PayPal shipping labels, have purchased hundreds of them, never had any problem. You buy through your PayPal account, print and attach the label to your sold and paid for package, drop it into a mailbox or take it to the Post Office, postage paid. When you purchase through PayPal, you will receive discounts for certain services. If you have problems printing the label, PayPal is the place to contact. Join Canada Post's Venture One program so you can order online free labelopes, and airmail and fragile stickers. If you send items in poly envelopes, Canada Post has a decent price for the 12"x16" size with the eBay logo.
Spend some time on the Canada Post site - acquaint yourself with the minimum and maximum dimensions and weights for various Canada Post services - these do not always correspond with US min/max requirements. There are lots of posts about shipping that are very informative - you can search the discussion forums for them.

Hi. Thanks.
I guess I should rephrase this question !
The problem wasn't printing or accessing the 'Labels', the problem is Canada Post recognizing them !!!
Are you doing your Shipping from within Canada ?
Thanks

Hi Thanks.
I ship regularily and have shipped more than hundreds of things through CP, probably a few thousand ! So, I am very familiar with CP and its workings !
When I printed these labels, there is nothing for CP to recognize except a tracking number ! They were not able to produce any information pertaining to the package except the recipient !
When you print your labels, are you given a SKU ?
Are you Shipping from within Canada ? If you are in the USA or elsewhere ....your Ebay is a little more User Friendly:)
Even Ebay doesn't know what is going on!
Thank you for you info

I have shipped thousands of packages through the eBay/PayPal shipping tool. For the most part it worked well for me, occasionally I had issues with the platform, such as timing out, or order not found message, or service that you want to use is not available. When I used to take the parcels to the Post Office, they would tell me that the eBay shipments were the easiest for them to scan as all they have to do is enter eBay and scan the package, where with other parcels they would have to enter the customer number and much more details.
I found that if there was an issue, it was very hard to deal with, as PayPal would tell me that they don't know much about the technical aspect of the system and Canada Post would basically tell me that it's PayPal who can only help me. Other than that the platform worked very well and was very easy to use.
I recently opened my own Canada Post commercial account and I'm doing my shipping through a third party app. (it does cost money to use) but for me it works very well as I have more than one channel that I sell through and this app pulls all my shipping orders from all sources, and through my own account I get higher discounts than offered by eBay. At the end of the day I print a manifest for all my shipments and Canada post only have to scan the manifest once and all the packages are automatically processed.

The majority of sellers here do their shipping from within Canada.
I'm not sure why you would have a problem with Canada Post recognizing them since the labels to originate from Canada Post and that is where the money goes when you pay for the labels. Paypal maintains the site.

What information are you used to showing on the package that isn't on the Paypal labels? There is no customer number needed to give at the post office as the labels have already been paid for.
Although the post office or postal outlet staff may not be able to access any other info about the package, Canada Post customer service reps do have access to all of the information in cases where there is a problem with the package. (insurance claims etc)
When you print your labels, are you given a SKU ?
For packages to the U.S. or other international locations, small packet and light packet do not have tracking. The small packet labels do have a sku but that is for CP internal use and doesn't show any tracking. One poster wrote that they could see tracking on the recipient's country site but I haven't checked to see if or how often that works.
The light packet label just has the basic info, no sku.
Of course expedited, xpresspost and tracked packet....any service with delivery confirmation...has a sku that can be scanned.

I have had problems several times and it had something to do with the recipients address. Try playing with that a bit. One example was that the area in england was on the address twice but with 2 different names. Not knowing this, Canada Post did and wouldn't recognize it. I called an english friend that helped with it.
