An item I have paid for has been displaying the hourglass icon (payment is being processed through PayPal) for nearly 24 hours now. However, the payment shows as "Completed" on PayPal (and really, it was "completed" as soon as I finished my checkout) and my Credit Card has been billed. Is this normal? I've NEVER seen this before and I figured it would have been replaced by the "$" symbol by now.
The seller is from a non-English speaking country and I'm not sure they understood my message (I asked if they could confirm the payment went through just fine). I did not use an E-cheque or anything (I saw another thread, but my case seems slightly different). This was through Credit Card, as always. I'm a little worried they are waiting for eBay confirmation and clearly, this isn't happening.
Is this a current known bug?
I wanted to buy other things, but now I'll be waiting.

That was not necessary.
If PayPal shows payment completed, it is.
Often, there is a problem of synchronization between eBay and PayPal. It is largely meaningless. The information in your "my eBay" is just that: information. Do not worry if you experience a delay in the information transfer from PayPal to eBay.
The delay has nothing to do with your seller. He received an email from PayPal confirming your instant payment just as you did. His PayPal account will show the same "completed" as yours.

I was worried it would look as if I was trying to avoid paying for my item.
Completely forgot that PayPal also sends an email (at least he'll get confirmatio there).
