How do I limit my identification when bidding on an item. I notice most bidders will have a letter, three astericts, and another letter.

Most buyers limit their id's such as a***b.  How is this done?

In any case, even your eBay name is anonymous.

If you want to keep it that way, don't tell your family your eBay name, always sign out when you have completed your stay on eBay and don't let anyone else know your password.
