I am in Canada and am making a purchase from a seller in Canada, so why is the price in US Dollars? Does the seller know that this is happening? Is this a skim job? The seller is actually my brother.

Most sellers no matter where they are located list in US

dollars because the US is the biggest buyer and seller

location.

If the Canadian dollar was higher than the US dollar like

it was a couple years ago,  What would you complain

about then.

If the seller is actually your brother then maybe you

should read the following link.

Everyone in the world understands the US dollar. Americans understand no other currency.

If you want to buy something from your brother, just buy it. Don't bid on it on eBay. He can end all bids and sell to you after cancelling the auction.

Bidding on the listing of such a close relative would be shill bidding and could get both of you kicked off the site.

Is it still considered "shill bidding" if I am making a Buy it Now purchase? If you bothered to read my question, you would read the word purchase... not bid!

So... I am not allowed to make a "buy it now" purchase from a family member? I never said anything about bidding. I guess if the CDN dollar was higher then I could still complain about your nice red text.
